Angular is a free-to-use web development tool designed for creating mobile and desktop web apps. This is an open-source project initially developed for single-page apps, which in turn cater to simple requirements. This is a JavaScript framework, but it was created using TypeScript.
Angular was structured in a way to allowed users to create their custom components that could easily be integrated into the framework’s core components. It was designed to be fully modular and testable. However, its streamlined development and deployment come at the cost of a steep learning curve. Other JavaScript frameworks include Moment Js and React Native.
A framework for scalable web apps
In a nutshell, Angular is a component-based framework. Following a model-view-controller (MVC) design architecture, it offers a clear application structure with a bidirectional data flow and a real document object model (DOM), or the structural representation. This makes it easy to review the modules and components included in a program. It starts with the root AppModule and you can add components as needed.

Also, given its architecture, it was expressly designed to integrate with custom components provided the correct protocols are used. The same goes for its testability, making it easy to run iterations and make changes as needed.
While versatile within its environment, one issue with this framework is its limited Search Engine Optimization (SEO) options, making it difficult to work with web crawlers or search engines. Additionally, it has no existing frameworks to streamline the migration of legacy JS or query-based code. You’ll have to convert them manually to make them work. Lastly, its nature as a JS framework written via TypeScript requires more technical knowledge.
